The Reward Challenge is the 2nd Annual Survivor shootout.  The first two rounds are close, but the final round, involving paintball guns, is dominated by Matt.  Velasquez wins a steak dinner. 

    At Velasquez, Mary strengthens her alliance with Matt and Jonny.  Lauren sides with Mike and Stone. At Denson, the first chicken is killed and eaten. 

    The Immunity Challenge involves building a distress signal.  Denson's signal, with bright colors and movement, is superior, and they win immunity.  At Velasquez, Lauren realizes that a tie at Tribal Council will result in her being ousted.  In desperation, she promises Matt, Jonny, and Mary that if they keep her around, she'll help them vote out Mike. 

    Fortunately for her, they agree to her plea.  Mike is voted out by the shaky new alliance.
