Episode 9 - Date with Destiny
After Tribal Council, Joe and Mary Lou discuss how they didn't expect Jake to be voted off.  When Stone approaches them, they talk with him about their children and grandchildren.  Later, Lauren teaches Mary a cheer, much to the guys' annoyance.  Scott makes up his own cheer to mock them, but some harsh words from Lauren leave him doubting himself.

Tree mail informs the Survivors that the reward challenge will require them to pair off.  Drawing numbers, the teams end up being Matt/Mary, Jonny/Joe, Mary Lou/Stone, and Scott/Lauren.  Scott and Lauren end up winning the challenge, a three legged race across an obstacle course.  The reward is dinner and a movie.  Scott and Lauren bond over their shared love for South Park.

Back at camp, Jonny sketches the dog in Stone's sketchpad.  Mary gets stung by a wasp while fishing with Matt.  Scott and Lauren return and share all the juicy details.  When Stone finds Jonny's drawing, he criticizes it harshly.  An eavesdropping Jonny becomes angered.

The immunity challenge a fire building contest.  It's tight between Stone and Joe, but Stone wins the immunity talisman for the first time.

The Buddy Alliance argues over who to vote for.  Stone alligns with Mary Lou and Joe.  Mary and Lauren make their own desperate plans.  At Tribal Council, Jeff reveals a new twist to the game, the black vote.   This allows the last person voted out to cast a vote that will be counted at the next Tribal Council.  Jake's vote went to Lauren, but it's not enough to make a difference.  The two smaller alliances again work together to oust a young guy.  This time Jonny's the victim.
