Personality:  The Matriarch.  Mary Lou is a very cheerful and upbeat lady, but she has a melancholy side.   Mary Lou is set in her ways and has difficulty accepting new ideas.  She has trouble grasping humor sometimes.  She has a good work ethic and is a very good cook.    

Physical:  Mary Lou's trademark beehive hairdo is snowy white.  (And has been since she was in her thirties)  She has sharp blue eyes.  She's mature, but is in decent shape.  She can't run fast, but she's fairly strong and can endure well.  Mary Lou's voice is slightly quavery and naturally has the enunciating tone one would take with a small child.
