Personality:  The Stalwart. Matt is generally pleasant, but can be rude to those he doesn't like.  Matt's not as smart bookwise as some of the other Survivors, but has enough common sense and survival skills to make up for it.  He has a simplistic vocabulary and does sometimes have difficulty expressing ideas.  Matt can be somewhat stubborn, but is fiercely loyal.  He has a very good work ethic.  Once he's tired, he can fall asleep anywhere, even sitting up and talking. 

Physical:  Matt is average height, heavyset, but very strong.  He is not good at running.  He has a huge bulge on his left wrist from a broken bone healing improperly, and as a result has limited use of that wrist.  Almost always seen wearing a cap, T-shirt, and jeans.  His voice is very low and he speaks slowly.
